    These are charming little chubby candles

    These are charming little chubby candles. I use them in 1970's and 1980's Scandinavian modern candle holders which are a little smaller and this 6" size of candle does not overpower the clear glass candle holders. They're made for each other!

    Very happy Colonial Candle offering these again for a limited time

    Six inch tapers are very hard to find in the candle world. These 6" Handipt tapers are the only candles that will burn properly in my antique silver and crystal hurricane lamps. Despite CC stating their candles should not be burned in hurricane lamps, these 6" Handipt tapers are actually perfectly shaped for that purpose. They burn evenly, do not drip, and they actually last longer inside my antique hurricane lamps than the 12" tapers do in my open candelabras. CC stopped offering these year round for reasons I do not know, but I was very pleased they were brought back this September, if only for a limited time. The price has gone up, of course, but I intend to stock up for the coming year. My only complaint is that the colors offered are limited, and they are not being offered in a wider range of colors. More colors, please!

    Great product and work well in our holders. My only complaint is that I cannot order more than 6 boxes of 12 at a time. Why is that?

    Perfect for sconces

    The 6-inch tapers are beautiful in shape and color and are perfect for wall sconces. The lower height means they are less likely to tilt or fall out.

    Colonial Tapers are just right!

    These tapers have the perfect look and size for my historic chandelier. I know from experience that they burn well, which is why I ordered them again.

    The Only candle

    I have used these for 40 years because of their quality. I phoned my order in and received excellent assistance. The 4 boxes of 6" hand dipped tapers were packed properly and arrived in perfect condition. They aren't as "fat" as they used to be so I need to use some Stickum in my candelabra. Regardless, still the best. Thank you!

    not standard diameter

    Beautiful candles = colonial makes the best. However, I was disappointed that this 6" size does not fit standard-sized candle holders. Needs support to create a snug fit that will not allow candle to fall over.

    Perfect candles for vintage brass candlesticks

    These candles are the perfect size and shape to compliment the vintage brass candle holders. There was a hiccup with delivery which Brandon at Colonial Candles handled efficiently. Very much appreciated since this is for a Christmas vignettes on my dining room table.

    Perfect candles

    I love these candles. They last the perfect length for a dinner party and when not in use, look pretty in the candlesticks. They are not too tall so you can have a conversation over them & through them as well. Just the perfect size for a dinner party.
