What do you mean by Virtually dripless candle?
Our dinner candles are meticulously crafted with high-quality, high melting point wax and a precisely centered cotton wick. This combination ensures a clean, even burning of wax that minimizes dripping.
Here’s why they stay virtually drip-free:
1. Slow, Even Burn
Slow, Even Burn – The wax is formulated to melt at just the right rate, preventing excess wax from running down the sides.
2. Perfectly Centered Wick
Perfectly Centered Wick – A properly placed wick ensures a steady, upright flame, reducing uneven melting that can cause drips.
3. Stable Design
Stable Design – Our tapers are crafted to maintain their shape as they burn, keeping the wax pool contained.
However,
We do not recommend burning tapers in enclosed (hurricane) glass, with expectations of not dripping. Our tapers are designed to burn off wax at a specific rate and placing them inside a cylinder causes the heat to build up quicker. Therefore, the flame does not have enough time to slowly burn off the wax.
Environmental factors like drafts or improper placement (e.g. angled placement) can sometimes cause minimal dripping.
