I have purchased 8 of the m baker black tea flora candles. I CANNOT get enough of this scent and never want to be without. It FILLS our 600sf living room. No other candle has ever done that. I usually have to burn 4.
THE jar is really cute but i can’t use it every room of the house. lol. I wish the m baker candles would come in pastel jars as well as the black jars. I’m seriously considering putting the jar in an empty bigger candle jar for the rooms the black doesn’t work in. I love it THAT much, and I’m a perfume snob. It’s very hard for me to love something. It’s not too masculine (which is what gravitate towards for home fragrances) but isn’t too sweet. No syrup candy sugar “gourmand”, which i detest. I’m saying this so you know more of what you will or won’t get…..
It’s just absolutely LOVELY. Lovely and classy are the 2 words i think describe black tea & flora best.
Oh and it burns FOREVER and evenly ALL the way down to the glass. A clean perfect burn.

This is my favorite scent from Colonial Candle. It’s exactly what you’d expect - a floral tea scent that’s wonderful. This scent fills a room quickly !
I ordered the candle as a gift since the recipient could no longer find this scent in the stores. My only issue is that I was not sent tracking information and had to go to the website to find it.

The smell of this candle is the most calming aroma and it’s an absolute favorite in our family. We moved from Tennessee to Texas, and after not finding these candles in a local store, we researched Colonial Candles and ordered them online!

I really liked the scent, which is cool because I wasn't sure I would. It's different from my norm of fresh or only florals. I just wish it had more throw so I didn't have to be right next to it to smell it.

The smell is amazing! I love the small scent of floral and essential oils. It's a great combination. It last a long time too! I have burned it for 8 plus hours and its not even a quarter of a way gone! Lots of life with great smell!
I got the M.Baker scented jar candle a larger Black tea flora jar candle a few days ago and it smells so yummy and the smell last long I will be getting more and will be recommending these candles to family and friends
I love the smell of this candle. It's a peaceful smell. Unlit, it has a very faint smell. I was worried the scent wouldn't throw very far. But my husband lit the candle 30 minutes before I came home from work and I could smell it as soon as I walked in the door. It smells so nice but it's not an over powered smell like sprays are.
Intoxicating! That is honestly the best word to describe the scent of this candle. I am normally not a fan of "dark" scents, and I do consider this one to be that. It is most definitely berry scented but in a darker way. The tea is there for sure and I think that might be what gives it such a unique fragrance. There is a hint of floral from the rose but I smell mostly berries and tea. The rose, tea and patchouli make the scent not sweet and really tone down the berries and pomegranate. The double wick is perfect for this size candle. I am usually disappointed with the scent throw from candles and mostly use wax melts for that reason but this one scents my room perfectly. The jar is high quality and the lid is great for when the candle is not in use. I am highly impressed with this candle and definitely recommend it to anyone that loves berry scents with a twist.
The black tea candle is in a nice jar with lid. It has two wicks which is cool and lasts for a decent amount of time. I just do not care for the scent. I suppose its just different than what I am used to. A unique scent for sure. Quality candle otherwise.
I'm very pleasantly surprised with the M. Baker Black Tea Flora candle! So many times candles have an unpleasant smell or are overwhelming or burn so fast the wick and wax will become uneven and unusable. At first I didn't smell this candle too much. Only after it burned for over an hour did I start to smell the scent pleasantly filling my house. It's a very relaxing and calming scent. It has two wicks so the wax evenly melts all around. I am eager to try some different scents from this brand.
Overall, I liked this candle. The double wick allowed it to burn evenly so I don't have to flip the candle to attempt to light it. The jar it comes in was adorable. The lid was easy to take on and off but for some reason the lid wouldn't stay sealed shut. I use the lid to snuff the candle out. Since the lid wouldn't stay on tight, I had to hold it until the candle went out. The smell is interesting. It's more like a woodsy tea smell. I would try more scents, definitely.
A high quality candle. The jar is cool, I like the simple, minimalist design. I like a candle that has a true scent that you actually smell while it's burning. The scent is actually pretty strong while burning but it's pleasant. It smells like flowers and has a earthy dark tea scent. I like the double wicks. Overall, a good quality candle, I will check out other scents by the brand.
