At Colonial Candle®, giving back to the community has always been part of who we are. For more than 110 years, we’ve poured candles that bring warmth, light, and happiness into American homes - and beyond.

World Orphans Day is on November 10th - a day to pause from our busy lives and reflect on how we can make the world a little brighter for those who lack the love and support of family. As part of our annual tradition, your Colonial Candle® is donating 10% of proceeds from the product sales to support 'Good Shepherd Children's Home' in Guatemala. Each purchase helps us share warmth beyond our candles - touching lives and brightening futures.

We invite our Colonial Candle community to join us in this meaningful effort. Together, let’s spread light, love, and hope where it’s needed most.
About Good Shepherd Children's Home, Guatemala

The Good Shepherd Children’s Home supports disadvantaged children, providing essential physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual care in a nurturing Christian environment. Since opening in 2014, it has helped over 185 children who come from challenging backgrounds. Older children attend school and receive tutoring to reach age-appropriate levels, while also participating in special classes such as music, sports, and computer skills. They are actively involved in their community church, where they sing in the choir, attend Sunday School, and join a Bible quiz team, creating a sense of family and belonging. In this year alone, the institution has helped over 100 families with parenting classes.
