    The best candles

    For the past 30 or so years, whenever we eat dinner at home when it’s dark out, we have candles on the table. Initially we would buy the candles from random places. For the last 20 years or so, we’ve used Colonial candles, buying a year’s supply of 12 inch tapers at one of the semiannual sales. They are the best. Burn evenly. Don’t drip. Last long.
